Anna Osborne Joins STU Tommies Women’s Volleyball Program

Fredericton, NB - Tommies are thrilled to announce the addition of Anna Osborne to the women’s volleyball program.

The decision for Anna to join St. Thomas University was clear: “I chose STU because it offers the program I am interested in as well as the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love. The volleyball program is competitive, and the university’s community feels really welcoming. I’m excited about the opportunity to grow both as a student and an athlete here.”

When asked what they will bring to the Tommies program, Anna shared, "I bring a strong work ethic, commitment to supporting my team, and passion for the sport. I’m coachable and a flexible player, so I’m ready to contribute wherever needed to help the team succeed.”

Anna is enthusiastic about the program’s leadership under Head Coach Kim Colpitts: “I feel like I have so much more to give and learn in my volleyball journey. I am beyond excited to be coached by such a well-respected and experienced coach! Coach Colpitts has a great reputation for developing athletes and creating a strong team culture, which is something I really value.”

As the Tommies continue to build a competitive and dynamic team, Anna is the second recruit for 2025-26. “I’m really looking forward to joining the Tommies and contributing to the team. I’m a hard worker, a team player, and I’m ready to give my all to help the program succeed.”
