STU Volleyball Adds Middle Blocker Lorie Eve to 2024-25 Roster
FREDERICTON, NB – The St. Thomas University Tommies women’s volleyball program is excited to announce the addition of Lorie Eve to the 2024-25 roster. Hailing from Beresford, New Brunswick, Lorie joins the team as a middle and brings a wealth of experience from her time with Club Volleyball Chaleur (CVC) and École Secondaire Népisiguit (ESN).
As she embarks on her Tommies journey, Lorie is eager to bring her fresh energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the team. "I hope my experience can help strengthen team dynamics and contribute to our overall performance. I’m excited to be part of this journey and support the team's growth,” she shared.
Lorie’s decision to join St. Thomas University was driven by the opportunity to combine her passion for volleyball with her academic goals. "St. Thomas University offers me the chance to play volleyball at a high level while pursuing my education. It aligns with my goals, both academically and athletically, allowing me to continue doing what I love while preparing for my future. The supportive environment, strong community, and opportunities for growth make it the right place for me to thrive," she explained.
Lorie also expressed her excitement about joining the STU program and playing under head coach Kim. "The STU volleyball team seems like a place where I could truly see myself having a lot of fun and growing both personally and athletically. I’m especially excited to be coached by Coach Kim. I’m eager to learn from her and contribute to the team’s success under her guidance."
Lorie Eve is a promising addition to the Tommies volleyball program, and the entire STU community is excited to see her take the court this upcoming season.
