Nashya Brooks Joins STU Tommies Women's Basketball Program
Fredericton,NB - St. Thomas University (STU) is thrilled to announce the addition of a new recruit to the women's basketball team for the upcoming season. Nashya Brooks, a dynamic point guard/shooting guard from East Preston, NS , has officially committed to joining the STU Tommies.
Having played for Auburn Drive High School, Brooks is known for her exceptional skills on the court and her work ethic, She brings a level of intensity and dedication that will undoubtedly elevate the team's performance. Her passion for the game is matched only by her commitment to academic excellence, as she plans to pursue studies in psychology and social work at St. Thomas University.
Brooks shared her comments on joining STU next season "I chose St. Thomas because it gave me that home feeling, it’s a very community-based school, and I think it suits me well as a player as well as a student." Her decision to join the Tommies reflects not only her confidence in the basketball program but also her appreciation for the supportive and inclusive environment that STU offers.
